vogel crystals

Marcel Vogel was one of the world’s most prominent late 20th century spiritual scientists, who helped bring public interest in the use of quartz crystals for therapeutic purposes.

Vogel worked as a researcher for IBM for 27 years, and helped develop the magnetic coating for IBM’s disc drives, which act as storage units for a computer’s memory. He is credited with creating the first liquid crystal displays, or LCDs, and has authored many scientific papers.

Vogel was a devout Catholic, with a life-long spiritual practice, and later on in his life he became interested in the study of subtle energies - the direct experience of the subtle energies that structure the human experience of spiritual realities. This was a journey of exploring new scientific frontiers.

From his experiments Vogel learned that by pointing a crystal at another person, the crystal would amplify the person’s thoughts and emotions, which led him to utilize crystals in therapeutic practice. He toured the in the world in the 1980’s conducting teaching workshops to pass on his knowledge.

Vogel designed and cut quartz crystals to specific multi faceted shapes to optimize the flow of Universal Life Force through the crystal for healing and meditation purposes. He cut his crystals to harmonize with the natural quartz structure to enhance the energetic properties, to maximize their potential for receiving, amplifying and transmitting energy charged with the intent to heal and with the force of love. He taught his techniques and shared his wisdom with many crystal cutters, healers and lightworkers.

“No two of my crystals are the same, they may achieve the same purpose, but there are no two crystals that come to me that are the same. So you have to consider the intrinsic property of each natural crystal…

you have to cut away the amount that will bring that crystal to that vibration of 454, the same vibration as water. Once you get that, you have a crystal that will do the work. Another key criteria is that they have to be cut with love.” - Marcel Vogel

According to his written specifications, the crystal healing wands should have precisely equal facets on the shaft and tip, good clarity, a well defined C-axis that runs parallel to the shaft: and the termination tip or points should be centered at the middle of the shaft. The male and female terminations should be sharp, and the male should be more acute than the female, the female being larger than the male tip. As the prana spirals down the shaft of the wand, the energy stream is amplified every time it encounters a facet on the shaft. The energy stream coalesces at the male end of the wand and is emitted as laser like beam for use in vibrational healing and subtle energy communications.

Vogel’s unpublished manuscript outlines his findings, presenting both a scientific and metaphysical point of view on subtle energies and crystal healing techniques. It details the highly faceted crystal designs he created using sacred geometry techniques and the experiments he conducted to measure the subtle energies in crystals and the human bio-energetic field. It also outlines the role of subtle energy in spiritual development, human health, and healing. Much of his archived work has never been released, and fueling speculation around its contents.
